BASIC TECHNIQUE (BT)

A term used in card-guessing tests of clairvoyance, in which the top card of the deck is placed to one side after each guess. The cards are not then typically examined until the entire pack of cards has been guessed.

BASIC TECHNIQUE (BT): "The basic technique is used widely during card reading in the pseudoscience of clairvoyance."
