is a multisystem illness caused by the successful bite of an infected deer tick. Symptoms of lyme disease include- fever, fatigue, header and aching as well as normal flu-like symptoms. Lyme disease is unlikely to become fatal but left untreated, it can lead to premature arthritis and a variety of neurological symptoms such as temporal paralysis.
