PORTMAN CLINIC

a major British clinic establishing in Portman Square, London, England in 1933, by three psychoanalysts to work with psychopaths and criminals. This led to the analysis and remediation of all cognitive and behavioral irregularities and disorders. The clinic joined the Tavistock Clinic in 1994 in the Tavistock and Portman National Health Service Trust. Besides clinical and cognitive wellbeing services, this trust now supplies training in forensic psychotherapy to substantiated psychiatrists.
