METAPHYSICS

is a branch of philosophy which looks at the nature of ultimate reality and as a result is considered to be a more speculative and theoretical side of philosophy without any real applications to real life situations. Current ultimate reality was built on the idea that it was as complex as the mind, spirit and other abstract principles so whilst there is no one definition and understanding of ultimate reality may be, metaphysics is able to question and debate its existence and relevance to life and society.
