TEMPORAL LOBE

one of the four primary lobes of each of the brain's cerebral hemispheres, residing just beneath the lateral sulcus on the lower lateral exterior of each hemisphere. It consists of the auditory projection and association regions in addition to regions for higher order visual processing. The mediae consists of areas imperative for the development of memories.
