ABORTION COUNSELING

emotional assistance, support and guidance given to women when they have an abortion, whether by choice or when deemed medically necessary- generally available to patients in all abortion settings from clinics to hospital facilities. Specific counseling often pertains to making the patient aware of their choices, the abortion procedure, and what to expect following the pregnancy's termination.

ABORTION COUNSELING: "The abortion counseling Jessica and her boyfriend received at the clinic was thorough enough to make them change their mind and decide to follow through with the pregnancy."
