ADAPTIVE SYSTEM

with regard to ergonomics, an operation that retains the capacity to change the way data presents itself, program models, or production, depending upon the abilities or features of the person using the operation, the operation itself, or the climate in which it is being used.

ADAPTIVE SYSTEM: "One of the most commonly used and recognized adaptive systems is that of the human language, which acclimates itself to various people coming from different societies in which their language may not directly match another."
