AMETROPIA

noun. An imperfection of the eye ball leading to fuzzy vision because of errors of refraction. Commonly seen in cases of hyperopia, presbyopia, astigmatism, myopia, and damage to the eye ball.

AMETROPIA: "Many persons with hyperopia will experience ametropia."
