ANOMALOUS EXPERIENCE

refers to any one of a states of consciousness, but most popularly described as an altered state - that is unexplainable and outside of the norm. Some examples include, out-of-body experiences, mysticism, auras that often precede epileptic seizures, and a sense that something else is present.

ANOMALOUS EXPERIENCE: "One anomalous experience a person may report is the presence of an aura prior to experiencing a seizure. "
