ASSESSMENT CENTER

an office or department in which participants have assessments administered to them - usually by a clinician. A variety of assessment procedures may be used, including cognitive, behavioral, or personality assessments. These are given via assessment instruments.

ASSESSMENT CENTER: "The person visited the assessment center in order to be evaluated for fitness to adopt a child."
