ATTITUDE SYSTEM

a set of two or more attitudes about the same factor that are associated in memory. Attitude systems can be characterized in terms of the number of attitudes in the system, the strength and pattern of associations among the attitudes, and the relative consistency of the attitudes in the system.

ATTITUDE SYSTEM: "A person's attitude system was characterized by a number of strong opinions about the moral value of marriage."
