BENNY

n. slang for amphetamine tablet, usually Benzedrine. Initially used as a bronchodilator and an appetite suppressant, it was further utilized as a euphoria-inducing stimulant which led to behavioral and neurological disorders.

BENNY: "Due to the risks posed by the free use of this stimulant, the benny has now become a prescription drug."
