BETA LEVEL

in statistics, refers to the probability of arriving at a false negative. As such, a person will make the wrong move of retaining the null hypothesis, thus, failing to reject it.

BETA LEVEL: "In the beta level, it is possible to make the mistake of not rejecting the null hypothesis despite its being false."
