BINARY SYSTEM

n. a logical structure, numerical or otherwise, consisting of two elements. In computer science and statistics, the values of this system are placed at 0 and 1. See binary pair- also binary feature.

BINARY SYSTEM: "In the binary system, there are only two values used and these are the digits 0 and 1."
