BLOATING

n. a sensation in the abdomen which, upon palpation, feels distended. It is a condition common to weight gain and constipation, and it frequently manifests in somatization disorder and irritable bowel syndrome. Also called abdominal bloating.

BLOATING: "Bloating is a condition wherein the abdomen looks distended and feels uncomfortably full and tight."
