BOREDOM

n. a state of weariness with one's environment and lack of interest in any stimulus. This develops mostly as a result of stimuli having been either non-existent or too repetitive, and thus, tedious.

BOREDOM: "The dullness presented by boredom is often described as being in the doldrums."
