BOUNDARY DETECTOR

n. in computer science and artificial vision, refers to the computation needed in order to detect the actual boundaries of an object. The computational algorithm requires a minimum and maximum value for the coordinates so that the boundary can be detected.

BOUNDARY DETECTOR: "In order to study the contour of a pixelated image, the photographer or the graphics artist would need a boundary detector."
