ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINISM

Philosophical idea where individual differences are put down to emvironmental factors, that is nurture opposed to nature. Compare biological determinism- genetic determinism' see determinism.

ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINISM: "Environmental determinism uses nurture over nature to bring about behaviour."
