ERROR OF ANTICIPATION

In methods of limits. The error where the participant wrongly changes her response of target present to target absent based on the knowledge that stimuli are presented in an ascending or descending order.

ERROR OF ANTICIPATION: "The error of anticipation comes from the participant anticipating the presentation of stimuli."
