EXPERIENCE-DEPENDENT PROCESS

The process where a synapse is formed and maintained as a result of an experience. Also called experience dependent synaptogenesis.

EXPERIENCE-DEPENDENT PROCESS: "An experience dependent process needs something to happen for the process to occur."
