EYEBALLING

is a term, typically classed as 'slang' which is used to describe the preliminary observance of search results or a piece of documentation before the individual actively attempts to internalize the information presented.

EYEBALLING: "Researchers will typically look at their experimental results (known as eye balling) before actually analysing the results for later reference."
