GASTRIC MOTILITY

The movements of the stomach muscles caused by digestive processes. Movements may occur in the absence of food in the stomach, as in the reaction of a patient to stress.

GASTRIC MOTILITY: "Gastric motility is the movement of our stomach muscles."
