Excessive, uncontrollable talking, often highly incoherent.Logorrhea occurs in states of pathological excitement, particularly in the manic phase of manic-depressive psychosis where one of the major symptoms is “pressure of speech.” For examples, see the illustrative cases under MANIC-DEPRESSIVE REACTION (MANIC PHASE).
