MAJOR DEPRESSIVE EPISODE

typically lasts 2 weeks in duration and has the following symptoms- persistent depressed mood, poor or increased appetite of bad food groups primarily which leads to weight gain, insomnia or conversely excessive sleep, a general lack of energy without any feeling of self-worth and others.

MAJOR DEPRESSIVE EPISODE: "A major depressive episode, on average will ask around 2 weeks in duration and give rise to a variety of depressive symptoms."
