MANAGED CARE

is a system of providing healthcare to an individual whilst taking into account the expenses of the delivery of that healthcare. Early forms of managed care included prepaid healthcare plans, which have now subsided into mainly either public or private healthcare plans.

MANAGED CARE: "Managed care is typically provisioned for those with dehabilitating conditions where their family cannot sufficiently support the patient."
