MAPPING OF GENES

is the systematic creation of an accurate map of an organisms full genomic sequence which can be achieved through a variety of methods, most notably by repeated PCR (polymerase chain reactions) reactions which allow copies of DNA to be made to then allow the mapping process to take place.
