MAPROTILINE

is an antidepressant which is similar to the tricyclic family of drugs. Similar to tricyclic drugs, maprotiline can cause heart defects which has resulted in a general decline in its use in the U.S.

MAPROTILINE: "Ludiomil, otherwise known as maprotiline is an anti-depressant medication which is rarely used due to side-effects."
