MEDIATE EXPERIENCE

is the conscious interpretation and usually entirely conscious awareness of events occurring externally to the current environment of interest and stimuli.

MEDIATE EXPERIENCE: "Stimuli will not provide all information about the external environment, mediating experience will allow an individual to provide additional missing information."
