MENS REA

is a state of mind which is derived from the Latin of guilty mind in which, irrespective of any contradictory evidence or the law, a mind is made up and cannot be changed or reasoned with when it comes to the innocence of another.

MENS REA: "In the context of law, when a man makes their mind up, it is impossible, according to the means rea, to change the final outcome."
