MESOSYSTEM

was first proposed by U.S. psychologist Urie Bronfenbrenner (1917 - 2005) who implies that groups, clubs and institutions outside of home will influence a child's development as much as school will.

MESOSYSTEM: "A mesosystem describes the large macroenvironement in which an individual is part of- for example, a school, day care, peer group, not including the home."
