MINIATURE SYSTEM

is the integrated knowledge, which includes facts and assumptions about a small area of study, usually within a sub-strand of a science for example the study of cell membranes in the cells in the human body.

MINIATURE SYSTEM: "Knowledge of a miniature system will include information pertaining to a restricted area of study."
