NEGATIVE RECENCY

is the tendency for an individual, when recalling words or number that they were just shown, to recall fewer of the final items than they can remember the initial or middle sets.

NEGATIVE RECENCY: "When recalling items from a list, negative recency implies that the last items will be the hardest to remember. "
