NEUROENDOCRINOLOGY

is the academic and scholastic study of the relationships which exist between the nervous system, with specific interest in the brain and the endocrine system. This field also looks at the release to certain hormones by cells into the blood stream, which are called neuroendocrine cells.

NEUROENDOCRINOLOGY: "Neuroendocrinology is the study on the nervous system and its interactions with the brain and the endocrine system."
