NEUROTIC DISORDER

in the current version of the DSM (Diagnostic Statistical Manual), neurotic disorders are not actually recognized as a value diagnostic entity. However, as a general rule of thumb, a neurotic disorder can be class as such when there is a degree or number of distressing symptoms are generally classed as alien from the individual.
