NOCTURNAL MYOCLONUS

is the action of consistently kicking and jerking ones limbs whilst in the process of falling asleep, whilst this is not considered normal behaviours for the body, it is also not necessarily a sign of a mental or motor disorder.

NOCTURNAL MYOCLONUS: "Some individuals who suffer from nocturnal myoclonus, a persistent kicking of the limbs whilst trying to sleep also suffer from insomnia and other characteristics which are associated with lack of sleep."
