NOETIC AWARENESS, NO EXCUSE

first devised by U.S. psychiatrist William Glasser (1925 - ) who setup this concept implying that there were no acceptable reasons to condone irresponsible behaviours or attribute those behaviours to another source.

NOETIC AWARENESS, NO EXCUSE: "Therapists, during reality therapy, encourage an understanding of noetic awareness or the no excuse principle which states there is no excuse for irresponsible behaviour."
