OCULOCEREBRORENAL SYNDROME

an X-linked recessive inherited disorder impacting male kids and characterized by renal-tubule malfunction, cognitive impairment, and optical disorders or dysfunctions, consisting of congenital glaucoma, cataracts, and distension of the eyeball due to fluid accumulation. The renal illnesses or dysfunctions consist of acidosis, hypophosphatemia, and extra amino acids in the urine. Neurological deficits vary from absence-of-brain irregularities to hydrocephalus and cerebral atrophy. Commonly referred to as Lowe's illness- Lowe's syndrome- of Lowe.
