OPEN-BOOK EXAM

an analysis insde a specific subject region wherein the instructor permits pupils to utilize reference books, textbooks, or notes in effort to respond to the test's questions. Commonly referred to as open-book test.

OPEN-BOOK EXAM: "Carrie was relieved to find that her test was an open-book exam."
