ORGANIC HALLUCINOSIS

in the DSM-III, a state marked by continual or repetitive hallucinations generated by hallucinogens, alcohol, brain injury or malfunction, or, in sometimes, sensory deprivation. This diagnostic class has been eliminated from the DSM- IV-TR.
