A numerical value showing the total incidents of diseases or disorders in a specific population during a specific time-frame (called "point prevalence") With inclusion of a specified period called "period prevalence")

PREVALENCE: "The prevalence of Influenza was 1,000 cases during the last week of January in the small community."
