PROPRIETY STANDARDS

Legal and ethical standards for a research study. Examples would be formal agreements between parties involved in the study and procedures to avoid conflicts of interest.

PROPRIETY STANDARDS: "The propriety standards made it clear that no one who worked for the manufacturer of the medicine could be involved."
