PULL-OUT PROGRAM

A program or plan in education where a student is removed from the normal class setting for a period during the regular school day for instruction in a different locale. This could be for advanced students or students struggling to stay with the group.

PULL-OUT PROGRAM: "Jerod was a beneficiary of the pull out program during high school. His grades and social adaptability increased greatly."
