SEMANTIC KNOWLEDGE

This term is applied to the knowledge information that a person acquires. It is also referred as the generic knowledge. Word knowledge is also included in this semantic knowledge.

SEMANTIC KNOWLEDGE: "Semantic knowledge is not tied to any object, domain or application and includes a knowledge of words."
