SENILE PLAQUES

These are the plaques that are linked with the Alzheimer's Disease. The concentration of these plaques is seen in the cerebral cortex. It is also known as a neurotic plaque.

SENILE PLAQUES: "Senile plaques are clumps of amyloid protein that are surrounded by degenerated dendrites."
