SOMATOSENSORY AREA

It is an area of the cerebral cortex that can be mapped by evoked potentials to reveal corresponding points to the touch. also known as somatic sensory system.

SOMATOSENSORY AREA: "The somatosensory area is in the post central gyrus of the anterior parietal lobe."
