SOUND-LEVEL METER

Sound level meter is a device that measures sound pressure and is expressed in decibels. The sound pressure is transduced by a microphone, processed, and typically expressed in decibels sound-pressure level.

SOUND-LEVEL METER: "A sound level metre is used to determine if a sound is too loud for its location."
