SPECIAL CARE UNIT (SCU)

the unit in a health care facility that provides specialised care for people with severe problems like dementia, spinal cord injuries and head injuries. Mostly known as special care unit.

SPECIAL CARE UNIT (SCU): "Joe was in the special care unit after his accident."
