SUMNER, FRANCIS CECIL

American psychologist who got his PhD on Clark University back in 1920, as first African American in the USA to receive psychology doctorate. He was great teacher and many Black psychologists graduated under his administration on Howard University, although it was still era of segregation. He established psychology of religion classes.
