SUPPORTED RETIREMENT

on-going program in which older individuals who also have mental disabilities are provided with support and assistance in a sense of social support. referred as supportive retirement.

SUPPORTED RETIREMENT: "Example: The Arc of Howard County has supported retirement program that provides support and opportunity for older individuals to interact with similar persons in local senior centres."
