TWILIGHT STATE

a state of clouded awareness wherein the person is transiently not aware of their current environment, experiences fleeting auditory or visual hallucinations, and reacts to them by engaging in irrational acts, like public nudity, fleeing, or committing acts of violence.

TWILIGHT STATE: "The twilight state experienced by the patient was likely a remaining effect of the medication she ingested earlier today."
